A man was shot while driving Monday afternoon somewhere south of Market Street, according to San Francisco police.
The victim, a 47-year-old man, told police he was driving around 4 p.m. somewhere within the Southern Police District, which includes The City’s South of Market, Embarcadero and China Basin neighborhoods, when he was shot one time in the back.
The man went home and then later decided to go to the hospital around 9:50 p.m.
Police said the location of the shooting remained unknown as of this morning and no suspect information was immediately available.
