Man shot in stomach during walk in Mission

A 22-year-old man was walking with friends in the Mission Monday night when someone opened fire from across the street, police said.

The man was struck in the abdomen by a bullet from a semi-automatic handgun near 25th and Harrison streets around 10:07 p.m.

He was taken to San Francisco General Hospital in non-life threatening condition.

No detailed description of the shooter has been released, but police said two men are suspects in the incident.
