Man shot in head with paintball gun

A 33-year-old man was shot in the head with a paintball gun early Monday morning, according to the San Francisco Police Department.

The 12:01 a.m. Outer Mission District incident occurred near the intersection of Mission Street and Lawrence Avenue.

The man was taken to a hospital in critical condition.

No witnesses saw the shooting, and little more is known of the incident.
