Man shot dead in Bayview Hunters Point

An unidentified man in his 20s was gunned down in the Bayview Hunters Point Tuesday night, according to police.

Just after 11:03 p.m., police found the victim near the intersection of Oakdale Avenue and Baldwin Court. He had multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The homicide unit is investigating the killing. This is the 34th homicide of the year.
