Man shot dead at Mission and 17th streets

A man was shot dead on a Mission district sidewalk around 6:15 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The man, who has yet to be identified, was killed in the area of Mission and 17th streets, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cops are hunting two thugs who fled on foot after the brazen shooting.

There have been no arrests, police said.
