Man shot at bus stop in Sunnydale projects

A 28-year-old man was shot in the ankle while at a bus stop in the Sunnydale housing projects Tuesday, police said.

After gunfire erupted at Sunnydale Avenue and Santos Street at 4:45 p.m., police said, the victim realized he had been shot when he felt pain in his ankle.

The suspects fled and have not been found.
