Man shocked, robbed in Excelsior district

A 54-year-old man was attacked by three men in their 20s Tuesday afternoon near John McLaren Park, according to police.

The victim was on Amazon Street between Edinburgh and Madrid streets when the trio came up behind him and shocked him with an electric stun gun at around 4 p.m.

The three assailants then took his glasses and a camera and fled in a dark gray Nissan sedan.

The victim refused medical treatment, and no arrest was made.
