Man robbed of gym bag, tablet near Portola neighborhood

A man was robbed of his gym bag and a tablet near the Portola district Friday, police said.

The 43-year-old victim was moving his property in his vehicle in the first block of Stoneybrook Avenue about 9:37 p.m. when four men pulled up behind his vehicle in a silver Nissan Altima, police said.

Three of the men exited the Nissan with handguns drawn and the victim decided to flee, police said.

The crooks then snagged the victim’s gym bag and tablet from the vehicle and fled in the Altima, police said. No arrests have been made.Bay Area NewsCrimeCrime & CourtsNissan AltimaRobberySan Francisco Police Department
