Man robbed at gunpoint near Glen Park BART station

A man was robbed at gunpoint Monday not far from the Glen Park BART station, police said.

The 56-year-old victim was near the intersection of Circular Avenue and Baden Street about 5:45 a.m. when a man who appeared to be in his 20s pressed a gun into the victim’s back, police said. The crook then demanded the man’s bag.

After the victim turned over his bag, the crook pushed the victim to the ground and fled to a waiting red pickup truck, police said.

No arrest has been made.

The victim’s bag contained his smartphone, wallet, cash and computer tools, police said.

The victim was not seriously injured.
