Man riding motorcycle in the Bayview injured in a shooting

A motorcyclist was injured in a shooting in the Bayview on Saturday, police said Monday.

The 23-year-old victim was riding his motorcycle in the area of Fitzgerald Avenue and Hawes Street about 12:45 a.m. when he was shot by an unknown gunman, police said.

The victim was wounded in his upper body and the injuries were not life-threatening.

No arrest has been made.
