Man near Friendship Court is met with open firearms

A man was shot in the leg near Alamo Square on Monday night, police said.

The 19-year-old victim was walking in the 800 block of Fulton Street near Friendship Court about 10:45 p.m. when he was wounded by an unknown suspect from an unknown direction. A friend drove him to the hospital and the man is expected to survive.
