Man injured in shooting near Candlestick Park

A man was injured in a shooting near Candlestick Park on Thursday night, police said.

The 19-year-old victim was in the 200 block of Cameron Way about 8:53 p.m. when he was struck in the leg by gunfire, police said.

The victim was hospitalized but his injuries were not life-threatening.
