Man injured in shooting in the Mission

A man was injured in a shooting in the Mission early Tuesday morning, police said.

The man was reportedly involved in a fight with about 15 other people at 19th and Mission streets about 2:06 a.m., police said.

During the course of the fight, the man was shot in the leg.

Police described the shooter as a man in his 20s. He fled the scene on foot and is still at large.

The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries, which were not life threatening.
