Man injured in Mission Bay shooting

A man was injured in a shooting in Mission Bay on Wednesday, police said.

A report of shots fired at Third and 16th streets came in about 8:20 p.m. Responding officers found a 23-year-old man who had been shot in the leg.

He was hospitalized, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

There were no known suspects or motives in the shooting as of Thursday.
