Man found dead near Ocean Beach

Police found a dead body early Friday morning just three blocks from Ocean Beach, at the intersection of 47th and Fulton streets.

San Francisco Police responded to a phone call reporting that someone was heard screaming. When officers arrived at the scene just before 3 a.m., they found the victim lying dead in the crossroads at the foot of Golden Gate Park.

The victim was a  white male.  No gunshots were heard, according to police, who are investigating the death.
