Man found dead in adult video store fire

A man was found dead at a South of Market adult store after a fire early Saturday morning, police said.

Around 2:16 a.m., San Francisco firefighters responded to a one-alarm fire at Don’s of Sixth Street, a 24-hour adult video store.

It took firefighters just over 20 minutes to contain the fire in the densely packed neighborhood, according to the fire department.

The early morning fire left the two story building with moderate damage. However, no one from the building was displaced from the fire, officials said.

An unidentified man died at the scene of the fire. However his identity has not yet been released.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
