A 52-year-old man who was assaulted in San Francisco last month became The City’s 33rd homicide of the year when he died last week, authorities said.

The Medical Examiner’s Office on Thursday identified Evaristo Rocha as the victim of an assault in late August at Market and Jones streets, who died Sept. 13.
