Man critically injured in stabbing on Treasure Island at possible drug lab

Police reported finding a possible narcotics lab on Treasure Island on Thursday while investigating a stabbing that critically injured a man.

The 55-year-old male victim was found with stab wounds to the chest in the 1400 block of Gateview Avenue about 9 a.m., police said. He was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the location where the victim was found might be a drug lab, and their investigation is ongoing.

There was no suspect information available Friday morning.
