Man critically injured in Mission area stabbing

A man was critically injured in a stabbing in the Mission on Tuesday night, police said.

The 36-year-old victim was stabbed in the chest about 11:11 p.m. at 24th Street and Osage Alley, police said.

The suspect, believed to be a man in his 30s, fled and is still at large, police said.

The victim was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
