Man critically injured in Hayes Valley stabbing

A man was critically injured in a stabbing in Hayes Valley early this morning, police said.

The man was discovered by police in the 200 block of Haight Street about 4:06 a.m., police said. He appeared to have a laceration to his throat and a stab wound to his chest.

He was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition.

There are no known suspects and very little information on the incident at this time.
