Man, 20, shot in Excelsior district

Authorities are investigating a shooting Saturday evening in the Excelsior District that left a 20-year-old man injured, according
to the Police Department.

The shooting was reported just after 5:30 p.m. at Brookdale Avenue and Santos Street, a fire dispatcher said.

Responding officers found the man suffering from two gunshot wounds, according to police.

The man was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, police said. The extent of his injuries was not immediately available.

No suspects have been arrested, police said.
