Major BART delays in East Bay due to equipment problem

BART is experiencing major delays on the Fremont Line in the East Bay due to an equipment problem on a train, according to the transit agency.

The delay, reported by BART at just before 7 p.m.. followed another delay on the Daly City line in the East Bay earlier in the evening that was also caused by an train equipment problem.
