Macy’s holiday tree lights up bustling Union Square

The holiday revelry and shopping season was in full swing around Union Square on Sunday, as folks admired the Macy’s holiday tree in the middle of the square and others perused the department store’s selection. The big tree, which for the first time is a faux fir this year, was officially lit up Friday night.
