Living the good life: What are you doing this weekend?

James Flynn of San Francisco has some major travel plans for the weekend — and the holiday.

Have any plans for the weekend? I’m flying to Ireland, visiting my dad for Christmas. I stop by New York for NewYear’s.

Is there anything interesting you’ll be doing when you visit your dad? Not really. I have a lot of relatives there and we go to a bar and drink Guinness. We all pretend we don’t like to drink Guinness but really we do.

Favorite neighborhood in The City? I go to the Mission a lot. I live in Pac Heights, but yeah, it’s either the Mission or the Marina sometimes. It’s the people in the Mission that I enjoy, I guess.

Any favorite restaurants in the Mission? The Last Supper Club, Cha Cha Cha, of course.

You say Cha Cha Cha as if it was everyone’s favorite. Well, it must be. You have to wait two hours sometimes to get a bloody table.

Any favorite hobbies? I play drums in a band. It’s called Sorrow Town Choir.
