A business was robbed at gunpoint in the Lakeside neighborhood Tuesday, police said.

A man approached the cash register at the business in the 2500 block of Ocean Avenue about 7:09 p.m. and pretended to purchase something, police said.

When the 22-year-old woman behind the counter opened the cash register, the man pointed a gun at her, police said.
