Kitchen kerfuffle quickly goes to pot, then police

This argument got heated.

A man was assaulted with a pot in the Sunnydale neighborhood Monday, police said.

The 52-year-old victim was arguing with a 26-year-old woman in the first block of Esquina Drive about 5 p.m., police said, when she grabbed the pot from the stove and struck the victim upside the head before fleeing.

The victim had a cut on his face but refused medical attention.
