Kicked and robbed when he was down

Three punks beat and robbed a 29-year-old man in the Mission district early Monday morning, cops said.

The victim was near the intersection of Hoff and 16th streets around 12:40 a.m. when the hooligans put him in a chokehold, police said.

They kicked him, searched his pockets and stole his cell phone and wallet, cops said.

Responding officers managed to arrest one of the suspects at the scene. The other two escaped, fleeing on foot, police said.
