KGO and KSFO president announces resignation

On Monday, Michael ‘Mickey’ Luckoff, the president and general manager of KGO and KSFO radio, announced he was resigning after 35 years in the position. Considered a pioneer of talk radio, the award-winning Luckoff is a member of the Bay Area Radio Hall of Fame and is the only radio manager ever inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. KGO is currently owned by Citadel Broadcasting, which bought the station from ABC Radio in 2007.
