Jerry Hill annouces annual contest

The state assemblyman announced his second annual “Oughta Be A Law” contest. Constituents of the 19th Assembly District are invited to submit ideas until Jan. 1. Hill will select the winner and introduce the idea as legislation. Last year’s winners developed a bill that would have increased penalties for truckers who spill debris on roadways. It eventually was vetoed by the governor.
