Passengers on the N-Judah were delayed for about one hour Thursday morning after a woman was injured.
San Francisco Fire Lt. Mindy Talmadge said an ambulance responded to the Muni stop at Noe Street and Duboce Avenue after the approximately 30-year-old woman “tweaked her knee.” She was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to recover from her injuries.
Muni spokesman Judson True said an N-Judah train was taken out of service at about 8:45 a.m. when the pedestrian’s leg was injured by a piece of equipment that connects one train car to the next.
Service was restored about 9:40 a.m. Shuttle buses continued to pick up passengers in the area for an hour after that, True said. Service on the J-Church line was also slowed.
