Imagine a playground at Mission parking lot site

You’ve got about a month to let your recreational receptors ripen with open space design ideas for the parking lot at the corner of Folsom and 17th streets.

Then you can develop your dreams at a public meeting with the planning department on January 23 at Marshall Elementary School at 1575 15th St.

The City is looking to convert the area to open space and is asking for help with the blueprints.

The meeting starts at 11 a.m. with light refreshments, childcare and an English-to-Spanish translation.
