Hayes Valley fatal stabbing victim identified as SF resident

A man who died from a fatal stab wound and was discovered Thursday night on a Hayes Valley sidewalk by police has been identified as a 42-year-old San Francisco resident.

Jason Little, who was named as the victim by the San Francisco Medical Examiner’s Office, was found near Octavia and Lily streets at around 7:09 p.m.

He died from his wounds at the scene and police are investigating his death as homicide.

The killing marks The City’s 38th homicide of 2017.
