Halloween still fun despite city canceling event

The City may have canceled the large events in San Francisco for Halloween, but that does not mean there are not events to attend.

Next weekend $5 will get you an all-access pass to “Scare Grove” at Sigmund Stern Grove to a haunted house, hay rides, carnival rides and other spooky adventures.

The event is co-sponsored by San Francisco Parks Trust and starts at 4 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m on Friday.

You can get your kicks at the 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard entrance.
