Who better to give San Francisco advice about economic crises and bad budget times than California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Amid a 61-day state budget impasse, the governor is stopping through San Francisco on Tuesday to deliver some insightful comments on the economy and the state of the budget during the Chamber of Commerce annual CitySummit event.
The event, which will draw more than 400 businesses and community members, will focus on San Francisco’s recovery, with solutions to expedite job growth in the face of an ongoing credit crunch and high unemployment.
The CitySummit also includes panel discussions examining opportunities and obstacles facing emerging growth sectors including: electronic entertainment; the smart grid; and social media.
