Golden Gate Park traffic collision turns into robbery

A traffic collision turned into a robbery Tuesday night after a motorcycle-riding man stole a cellphone from another motorist, according to police.

The victim, a 68-year-old man, and the suspect, a 27-year-old man, were arguing over a collision near the intersection Crossover Drive and Park Presidio Boulevard when the incident escalated.

The suspect grabbed the victim’s phone and fled on his motorcycle.

No arrest has been made in the case.
