Gascón to tell public about NYE safety plan

Police Chief George Gascón is preparing the department for a raucous New Year’s Eve in San Francisco.

So, how will police manage to monitor all the nightlife hotspots while cutting down on overtime, as Gascón has told officers will be the case this holiday season?

We’ll tell you more Thursday after Gascón holds a 10:30 a.m. press conference at the Hall of Justice.
