Free Wi-Fi network to expand

Mayor Gavin Newsom is expected to announce the expansion of The City’s Wi-Fi network today. The City has been working with Meraki, a San Francisco-based company, to offer free high-speed wireless Internet access. Meraki’s network works by broadcasting signals from rooftop to rooftop.
