Flags at half-staff for Don Fisher

If you’ve noticed half-staff flags around town, they’re probably in respect to Don Fisher.

Mayor Gavin Newsom issued a statement today in regard to Fisher’s death that read, “His unwavering commitment to our city’s arts and civic culture will be remembered for generations to come.’’

Newsom then stated the flags in The City would be flown at half-staff, “to honor Mr. Fisher, his leadership, and his many valuable contributions to the city he loved.’’
