First ‘Trauma,’ now ‘Facing Kate’

NBC apparently likes filming in San Francisco.

The company picked up the “Trauma” pilot filmed in San Francisco and went on to order 13 episodes of the television medical drama series with scenes shot in The City and production headquarters out on Treasure Island.

Now NBC/Out of the Box Productions is filming another television pilot in San Francisco for three days early next year, according to San Francisco’s Film Office. The pilot is called “Facing Kate.” Online reports say the show is an hour-long drama about a divorced lawyer in San Francisco who becomes a mediator.
