Fire commission to discuss battalion chief's fate

The San Francisco Fire Commission will hold a special meeting today to discuss possible actions against battalion chief Lorrie Kalos-Gunn, who is accused by Chief Joanne Hayes-White of misusing her status as an S.F. firefighter for political gain in the Millbrae City Council elections last November.

Kalos-Gunn posted photographs of herself in her uniform on pamphlets and listed her department-issued cell phone on her campaign fliers.
