Fire burning in Marin Headlands west of GG Bridge

A half-acre vegetation fire is burning on a hillside in the Marin Headlands west of the Golden Gate Bridge, Marin County Fire Department Battalion Chief Mike Giannini said.

The fire was reported around 11:45 a.m. It is causing smoke to blow west toward the bridge, Giannini said. No injuries have been reported.
