The state Assemblymember’s bill that would crack down on illegal recycling raiders across the state passed the Assembly and is headed for Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s desk.
The bill, AB 1778, would require recycling centers to pay by check and obtain identifying information of individuals who bring in more than $100 worth of recyclables and more than $50 worth of newspapers.
