Fillmore District shooting injures two

A man and a woman were transported to a hospital Friday night after becoming targets in a shooting in the Fillmore District.

Officer Robert Rueca, a spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department, confirmed on Saturday that the victims’ injuries were not life-threatening.

The man and woman were driving in the area of Golden Gate Avenue and Fillmore Street around 10 p.m. on Friday when an unidentified suspect began shooting at their vehicle, the pair told officers who responded to their call.

As of Saturday, police have not reported any arrests in connection to the shooting and were unable to provide a suspect description.
