A look at some of the most spectacularly decorated holiday homes in San Francisco and on the Peninsula

Joe Regalia

33 Lilac Lane, South San Francisco

Regalia has been decorating his quaint cul-de-sac home since 1961, in tune with the neighborhood tradition. The Santa and reindeer, surrounded by over 1,200 lights, make this holiday display one to be seen.

“We once had a busload of people outside taking pictures,” Regalia said.

“So we figure we meet the quota.”

Passers-by also leave letters for the Regalia family, enthralled by their fire truck display.
