Female victim stabbed near Mission BART station

A female victim was stabbed in San Francisco's Mission District Sunday morning, a police spokesman said.

The stabbing was reported at the BART Plaza at 24th and Mission streets around 10:45 a.m., San Francisco police Officer Albie Esparza said.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with at least one stab wound to the lower body, according to the spokesman.

No arrest has been made and no information about suspects was available.
