Female victim fatally shot in Outer Sunset

A female victim was fatally shot in the Sunset District late Friday afternoon.

San Francisco police officers responded to reports of a shooting at 34th Avenue and Ortega Street at 4:37 p.m., according to SFPD spokesperson Officer Grace Gatpandan.
At 4:51, the shooting was declared a homicide, Gatpandan confirmed.

The suspect’s identity was not immediately available.
