Fearless woman dodges creep, late-model Volvo

A woman was walking on the 3300 block of Mission Street in Bernal Heights about 10 p.m. Monday when a man rode up on a bicycle and attempted to talk to her, police said.

She ignored the man and he rode away. But soon the man reappeared, this time in a 1990s-model four-door Volvo, police said. He slowly followed her to a gas station parking lot, where he tried to force her into his car.

The “victim bravely and fearlessly kicked and pushed the suspect away” before fleeing, police said.
