Events to impact SF weekend traffic

Several events this weekend will close streets and divert Muni routes.

The Chinese New Year Flower Fair will close a number of streets in about an eight-block area in the heart of Chinatown from 11 p.m. tonight until 11 p.m. Sunday.

On Sunday, streets just to the north of Civic Center will be closed for the 14th annual Tet Festival. The 19-Polk Muni route will be rerouted to accommodate the festival.

Streets in and around the Panhandle will be closed from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Sunday for the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Half Marathon, and Muni will reroute the 18-46th Avenue, 23-Monterey, 33-Stanyan, 43-Masonic and 44-O’Shaughnessy lines.
