Elderly man robbed of camera while taking pictures at Stow Lake

An elderly man was robbed of his camera while snapping photos at Golden Gate Park’s Stow Lake on Monday afternoon, police said.

The 73-year-old man was taking pictures in the 100 block of Stow Lake when three men in their late teens or early 20s approached the victim around 12:15 p.m. and snatched the camera from his hands, according to police.

The suspects then drove away in a dark-colored SUV. No arrests have been made as of Tuesday.
