Duo robs man in North Beach home

A man was pistol whipped and robbed of his electronics Tuesday night in the North Beach neighborhood.

The robbery took place at a 26-year-old man’s home at around 8:40 p.m. at Mason and Lombard streets, according to police.

The two robbers — a man in his 20s and another unidentified man — entered the victim’s home through the front door, which was unlocked, police said.

One of the robbers hit the victim in the face with his handgun, resulting in a cut to the side of his head. The two robbers proceeded to take the man’s belongings, including a television and a laptop, and fled the scene in a light colored sedan, according to police reports.

The victim was taken to the hospital.
